Rental Agreement

The owners agree to rent the Château d’Alogny, as decribed on their website www.alogny.com,  exclusively to :

A refundable damage and cleaning deposit of €300 (cheque or cash) will be collected on or before arrival.

Receipt of a 25% deposit  (€ _______) confirms your reservation and acceptance of our terms and conditions.  

The balance of € ________is due six weeks prior to your arrival.

 

Terms and Conditions

·          Rentals are Saturday to Saturday unless otherwise agreed in writing.  The rental period starts at 4:30 pm.    Please telephone us  if you are significantly delayed (05 49 20 29 70).

·          Guests are asked to vacate their rooms by 9 :30 am  on the day of departure to allow time for cleaning, but are welcome to continue to use the pool and  gardens.

·          The damage & cleaning deposit balance will be returned within two weeks of departure.

·          Deposits are non-refundable.   If cancellation occurs after the balance has been paid, a refund will only be made if  a substitute booking for the period occurs.  Otherwise the owners are willing to apply the balance towards a subsequent rental .

·          Travel, accident  and holiday insurance is strongly recommended.

·          The rental fee includes linen, electricity, water & firewood.

·          A surcharge of  €100/day/person may be made if the number of guests exceeds the number stated on this agreement.

·          The first guests of a party to arrive will be greeted in person, offered a glass of local wine and given a tour of the property, including a review of the appliances and amenities.   Full information about the Château d’Alogny, its facilities and surroundings will be available on arrival in the ‘Alogny Handbook’. 

·           Please ensure the property is left in good condition, with all furniture in its original placement.   

·          The owners have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the property is safe, and will not accept responsibility for any injury, accident or loss sustained during the period of occupancy.
