Female Anna's Hummingbird

Caught as it hovers near a flower before feeding. The blue background was suspended about 2 feet away and lit separately by a couple of flash units.  Prior to taking the shot the hummingbird had learned to take sugar water from a feeder suspended in place of the flower.  The birds were completely undisturbed by the presence of all the equipment and two photographers.
